ROUGH CUT. NO REPORTER NARRATION. Pope Francis travelled to Myanmar's capital Naypyitaw on Tuesday (November 28) to meet with President Htin Kyaw and State Counsellor Aung San Suu Kyi. The Pontiff appeared to trip as he was coming out of the plane, but then steadied himself. An official welcoming ceremony was held for him by Hyin Kyaw, and they later signed a memorandum of understanding. The Pope earlier met leaders of several faiths in the majority-Buddhist country, calling for "unity in diversity" but making no mention of the Rohingya who have fled en masse to Bangladesh since a military crackdown began three months ago.
