ROUGH CUT. NO REPORTER NARRATION. Explosions at a military ammunition depot in central Ukraine were seen in the early hours of Wednesday (September 27), 270 kilometres (168 miles) from the capital. Blasts also occurred late on Tuesday (September 26) at the military base near Kalynivka in the Vynnytsya region, Ukrainian emergency services said in a statement, adding that one person had been injured. Rescue teams were evacuating nearby villages in the region, the military said. Ukrainian Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman flew to the area overnight and said "external factors" were behind the incident.
