Former U.S. Congressman Anthony Weiner sentenced to 21 months in prison on Monday for the sexting scandal that rocked the 2016 U.S. presidential election… 53-year-old Weiner, who pleaded guilty in May , was sentenced by a District Judge in Manhatten for sending sexually explicit messages to a 15-year-old girl… An investigation into Weiner's exchanges with a North Carolina high school student roiled the 2016 election in the final days when, during a search of his laptop, authorities found emails from his wife Huma Abedin, a top aide for Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton… That discovery prompted a reopening of the FBI probe into Hillary Clinton's emails. Abedin, who has a five-year-old son with Weiner, filed for divorce back in May.
