Former White House spokesman Sean Spicer finally got to meet with the Pope on Sunday, after having missed an opportunity to do so with U.S. President Trump back in May. Jillian Kitchener reports.
At last - Sean Spicer gets to meet the Pope. It was a dream that came true on Sunday for the former White House spokesman. Spicer, a Roman Catholic, joined a group of International Catholic Legislators at the Vatican. This, after being denied a chance to meet Pope Francis in May when his boss, President Trump visited, even though he'd expressed an interest in taking part. Spicer was omitted from the list. First lady Melania was there, along with Ivanka Trump, Jared Kushner, Secretary of State Rex Tillerson and National Security Adviser HR McMaster. But not Spicer...although now, having resigned from his White House job, he can say he finally got his wish.
