U.S. Vice President Mike Pence said on Wednesday (August 2) that "America first does not mean America alone" as he sought to strengthen ties with Europe at the Adriatic Charter Summit in Montenegro. Pence added that Europe must now be "resolute and uncompromising" in the face of Russian aggression which he said was working to "destabilise the region". Pence is in Montenegro as part of a three day tour of the Balkan states which will conclude later on Wednesday.
