U.S. President Donald Trump returns to the White House after his first foreign trip and ignores a reporter's question about reports his son-in-law Jared Kushner requested a secret back channel of communications with Russia. Rough Cut (no reporter narration).
ROUGH CUT (NO REPORTER NARRATION) President Donald Trump returned to the U.S. on Saturday after his nine-day foreign trip and ignored a reporter's question about reports his son-in-law, Jared Kushner requested a secret back channel of communications with Russia. Trump just waved and did not respond as he and Melania walked towards the White House. Questions have intensified in the wake of disclosures on Friday (May 26) that Kushner, a senior adviser and the husband of Trump's daughter Ivanka, had contacts with the Russians in December about opening a secret channel of communications with Moscow.
