ROUGH CUT. NO REPORTER NARRATION. As the French public take the polls in the presidential elections on Sunday (May 7), workers are busy building the venue for favourite Emmanuel Macron's election party in central Paris. Centrist Macron will be holding his supporters' party at the Louvre while far-right candidate Marine Le Pen will be holding hers at the Chalet du Lac - Chalet by the Lake - situated in the Bois de Vincennes park on the eastern edge of Paris. Throughout France, security has been high throughout with more than 50,000 police officers on duty on election day in the wake of a series of militant attacks in Paris, Nice and elsewhere in the past few years that have killed more than 230 people.
