ROUGH CUT. NO REPORTER NARRATION. French expats, and ambassador to the UK Sylvie Bermann, queue up to cast their ballots in the country's presidential election at London's French embassy on Sunday (May 7). Some 100,000 French citizens are estimated to live in the United Kingdom. Opinion polls show independent centrist Emmanuel Macron is set to beat National Front candidate Marine Le Pen in Sunday's second round of voting, in what is seen to be France's most important election in decades. Macron, who wants to deregulate the economy and deepen EU integration, has a 23-26 percentage point lead over Le Pen in the opinion polls.
