French far-right presidential candidate Marine Le Pen calls for the reinstating of border controls and says she will protect France if she wins Sunday's election. Rough Cut (no reporter narration).
ROUGH CUT. NO REPORTER NARRATION. French far-right presidential candidate Marine Le Pen said on Friday (April 21) that if she wins Sunday's (April 23) presidential election she will prioritise security by tightening French border controls and the penal system. Security surged to the top of the presidential campaign agenda after the killing of a policeman on Thursday (20) by an Islamist militant on the Champs Elysees in central Paris. Le Pen has said authorities are not doing enough to protect citizens from militant attacks, which have killed more than 230 people in France since January 2015.
