ROUGH CUT (NO REPORTER NARRATION) U.S. Secretary of State Rex Tillerson met with British counterpart Foreign Minister Boris Johnson in Italy on Monday (April 10). Foreign ministers are meeting in the Tuscan town of Lucca for the G7 meetings of major industrialized nations as they seek clarity from Washington on numerous diplomatic issues, especially Syria. Britain and France last week renewed their call for Syria's president Bashar al-Assad to leave office, after a suspected chemical attack by Damascus killed scores of people in a rebel-held area, eclipsing an international conference to promote peace in Syria. The United States will hold responsible anyone who commits crimes against humanity, Tillerson said on Monday, days after the U.S. military unexpectedly attacked Syria.
