U.S. President Donald Trump accuses former President Barack Obama of wiretapping him in October during the late stages of the presidential election campaign, but offered no evidence to support the allegation. Linda So reports.
A busy morning for U.S. President Donald Trump on Twitter. He sent out a flurry of Tweets early on Saturday accusing former President Barack Obama of wiretapping him in October during the late stages of the presidential election, but offered no evidence to support the allegation. In one tweet, Trump said quote, "How low has President Obama gone to tapp my phones during the very sacred election process. This is Nixon/Watergate. Bad (or sick) guy!" In another tweet, Trump alleged the wiretapping took place in his Trump Tower building in New York, but there was "nothing found." Trump also shot back at Arnold Schwarzeneggar and his decision not to return for a second season as host of "Celebrity Apprentice." The president tweeting quote, Arnold Schwarzeneggar isn't voluntarily leaving the Apprentice, he was fired by his bad (pathetic) ratings, not by me. Sad end to great show."
