The U.S. lifts limits on the amount of Cuban rum and cigars that travellers can bring back home to the states. Linda So reports.
U.S. travellers can now roll em up and bring them home... as many Cuban cigars as they can fit in their bags. The same goes for the island's famed rum too. The Obama adminstration has officially lifted limits on the amount of Cuban rum and cigars U.S. travellers can bring back home for personal use. The change part of a series of new measures aimed at easing trade, travel, and financial restrictions on Cuba. President Obama in March visited the island nation on a historic visit, opening a new chapter after decades of animosity between the Cold War foes. Obama is hoping the new measures will make his opening to the communist-ruled island irreversible before he leaves office in January.
