Trump, who has often praised Russian President Vladimir Putin, has drawn sharp criticism from Democrats and some Republicans. In a national security forum on Wednesday night, Trump argued that Putin is a better leader than Obama. His running mate Indiana Governor Mike Pence defended the comment, calling it "inarguable" that Putin is a stronger leader than the U.S. president.
