Ukrayinska Pravda journalist Pavel Sheremet has been killed by a car bomb in central Kiev. One senior Ukrainian official is calling it a ''cynical murder''. Jillian Kitchener reports.
Award-winning journalist Pavel Sheremet, was on his way to work when the car he was driving exploded. The car was owned by his employer at the investigative website Ukrayinska Pravda. This witness says he was driving as if he was in a hurry -- when the explosion happened. Sheremet was known for his outspoken criticism of the leadership in his home country of Belarus... and was given Russian citizenship after fleeing political persecution there. His friendship with slain Russian opposition leader, Boris Nemtsov, was also well-known. Investigators say they are looking at all possible scenarios in the events leading up to his death. One senior official is calling it a "cynical murder."
