Vice presidential candidate Gov. Mike Pence urges Republicans in Ohio to work together to defeat Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton. Rough Cut (no reporter narration).
ROUGH CUT (NO REPORTER NARRATION). Republican vice-presidential candidate Governor Mike Pence said on Tuesday that it's time for Republicans to put their divisions behind them and unite behind presumptive presidential nominee Donald Trump. Pence told a crowd at the American Conservative Union Foundation that the party must rally around the nominee, in order to make sure Republicans retake the White House, and maintain control of the U.S. Congress. Pence's comments come one day after anti-Trump delegates launched a bid to introduce other candidates. When they failed, the convention hall erupted into boos, and some delegates walked out. Some prominent party members have skipped the convention altogether because of their concerns over the tone of Trump's campaign.
