ROUGH CUT (no reporter narration) Story: U.S. President Barack Obama told reporters on Friday (May 6) that the presidential election "is not a reality show" and that the Republican party's presumptive nominee Donald Trump "has a long record that should be examined." During a briefing at the White House, the U.S. leader scolded reporters for the "circus" like atmosphere of the reporting on the presidential race. In answer to a question about Trump, Obama said reporters need to hold candidates to account when they make propose policies that could start a war, upend U.S. relationships with other countries or break the financial system.
