ROUGH CUT (NO REPORTER NARRATION) A group of European politicians, led by British diplomat, Jonathan Powell, arrived in Pyongyang on Tuesday (March 1), North Korea's state news agency KCNA said. Video provided by North Korea's official news agency KCNA, which Reuters cannot independently verify, showed the state's airline Air Koryo plane, believed to be carrying the delegation, taxiing on tarmac at Pyongyang airport. In the footage, three European politicians were seen being greeted by North Korean officials. KCNA said the group of politicians from various political parties of Europe was headed by British diplomat Jonathan Powell, former Downing Street Chief of Staff to former Prime Minister Tony Blair. However, KCNA did not mention the purpose of their visit to Pyongyang.
