Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump yells for his hot stage lights at a rally to be turned off and uses a technical lighting glitch to demonstrate the art of negotiation. Rough Cut (no reporter narration).
ROUGH CUT (NO REPORTER NARRATION) Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump used a technical lighting malfunction at his rally on Sunday (February 21) to demonstrate the art of negotiation. Trump was in the middle of a campaign speech in Atlanta, Georgia when the stage lights suddenly went off. The Republican front-runner said he liked it better without the "brutal" hot lights and that, this way, he gets to save on electricity as well as the rent on the venue. When the stage lights were turned back on anyway, the billionaire real estate mogul got the crowd to chant "turn off the lights" until the room went dark once again. "That's the way we have to negotiate for our country," Trump said to applause.
