Trump sparked outrage around the world in December 2015, when he said Muslims should be banned from entering the United States. Gavin Robinson, a Democrat Unionist party member of parliament, slammed the billionaire businessman. (SOUNDBITE) (English) GAVIN ROBINSON, DEMOCRAT UNIONIST PARTY MEMBER OF PARLIAMENT SAYING: "So you don't need a crystal ball to recognize that the person you are dealing with, may be a successful businessman, is also a buffoon and has the dangerous capability, the dangerous capability of saying the most obscene or insensitive things to attract attention." Labour parliament member Naz Shah, condemned Trump's political tactics. (SOUNDBITE) (English) NAZ SHAH, LABOUR MEMBER OF PARLIAMENT, SAYING: "Donald Trump is no more than a demagogue, he panders to people's fears as opposed to their strengths." Conservative Victoria Atkins echoed that sentiment. (SOUNDBITE) (English) VICTORIA ATKINS, CONSERVATIVE MEMBER OF PARLIAMENT, SAYING: "Turning as I must to Mr Trump. His comments regarding Muslims are wrong. His policy to close borders if he is elected president is bonkers. And if he met one or two of my constituents in one of the many excellent pubs in my constituency, then they may well tell him that he is a wazzock for dealing with this issue in this way." Trump's comments on Muslim's came after 14 people died in a shooting spree in California by two Muslims whom the FBI said had been radicalized.
