ROUGH CUT (NO REPORTER NARRATION)
Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump told a crowd in Burlington, Vermont on Thursday evening that he would undo the executive orders signed by Democratic President Barack Obama if he's elected.
This week, Obama ordered stricter gun rules that he can impose without Congress and urged American voters to reject pro-gun candidates, in an emotional address from the White House.
At a campaign rally, Trump said the actions show the president has little respect for Republican leaders.
The GOP frontrunners event was disrupted again by protesters, who were quickly escorted out.
Trump leads national public opinion polls of the 12 Republicans seeking their party's presidential nomination, although he is trailing in some state polls.
Reuters/Ipsos polling showed Trump with 38 percent support among Republican respondents, followed by U.S. Senator Ted Cruz with nearly 15 percent, and retired neurosurgeon Ben Carson with 12 percent.
