ROUGH CUT (NO REPORTER NARRATION) STORY: U.S. President Barack Obama and his family on Friday (December 18) left Washington for their holiday break in Hawaii. The first family boarded a helicopter on the South Lawn of the White House and flew to Joint Base Andrews in Maryland. Obama is scheduled to meet privately with the families of victims of a Dec. 2 mass shooting in San Bernardino, Calif., en route to spending the holidays in Hawaii.
