ROUGH CUT (NO REPORTER NARRATION) STORY: U.S. President Barack Obama said on Friday (November 20) he is monitoring the situation in Mali, where Islamist gunmen attacked a luxury hotel and took hostages in the Malian capital. Obama made the comment following a bilateral meeting with Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Razak. The US leader is in Malaysia for the ASEAN summit.
