Romanian President Klaus Iohannis talks to anti-government protesters in effort to calm their anger after a nightclub fire killed 41 people. Deborah Lutterbeck reports.
An appeal for calm from Romanian President Klaus Iohannis as he meets with protesters in Bucharest Sunday. (SOUNDBITE) (Romanian) A PROTESTER, RADU, SAYING: "I wish 1,500 to 2,000 young people would be here every evening until the political class will hear us. I will do everything I can to change the future of this country." Consultations over a new Romanian prime minister will resume next week. But the calls for change continue.
