During Presidential Debate U.S. Republican Candidate Donald Trump says he has permit to carry weapon and that he carries ''sometimes a lot.'' Rough Cut (no reporter narration).
ROUGH CUT (NO REPORTER NARRATION) U.S. Republican Presidential Candidate Donald Trump told moderators at the Republican Presidential Debate in Boulder, Colorado that he might feel safer if members of his staff carried weapons on Wednesday. "Yes, I might feel more comfortable. I would say that I would, and that I have a permit, which is very unusual in New York, a permit to carry, and I do carry, on occasion -- sometimes a lot. But I like to be unpredictable" he said. Trump went on to call 'gun-free' zones a "catastrophe." "They're a feeding frenzy for sick people," he said. The nationally televised debate comes at a crucial time in the race for the 2016 Republican presidential nomination, as Dr. Ben Carson has moved ahead of Trump in some national and local polls just three months before the first nominating contest in Iowa.
