ROUGH CUT (NO REPORTER NARRATION) STORY: U.S. President Barack Obama said on Friday (October 2) that the main thing he plans to do on gun control is talk about it "on a regular basis", adding that nothing could change until politics changed. "I will politicize it," he said. Addressing reporters at a news conference one day after a deadly mass shooting in Oregon, Obama said that people dissatisfied with the lack of movement on gun control needed to be "as intense and as organized and as adamant about this issue as folks on the other side." "You just have to for awhile be a single-issue voter, because that is what is happening on the other side," Obama added.
