Migrants at a reception center in Roszke rush to receive food, being thrown to them by Hungarian police. Rough Cut (no reporter narration).
ROUGH CUT (NO REPORTER NARRATION) STORY: Hungarian police said on Friday (September 11) they had launched an investigation after online videos showed a crowd of migrants clamouring for food at a reception centre in Rosze, Hungary as police in surgical masks threw out packs of sandwiches. The videos were said to have been taken at the refugee camp on the Serbian border, where thousands of migrants have been crossing into the European Union every day. The videos were posted on the YouTube channel of Austrian politician Alexander Spritzendorfer and were filmed by his wife, Michaela Spritzendorfer-Ehrenhauser. In an e-mailed response to Reuters' questions, police said they had launched an "emergency enquiry" into the matter, describing it as a fact-finding investigation, without elaborating.
