Apple unveiled the iPad Pro, along with updates on the Apple Watch, as its special event got underway in San Francisco. Bobbi Rebell reports.
Apple showed off stylish new products at its special event in San Francisco. Apple Watch was up first, the company offering new apps, like Facebook Messenger, and unveiling new finishes and bands. Then it moved to the new iPad. Apple CEO Tim Cook: (SOUNDBITE) TIM COOK, CEO, APPLE (ENGLISH) SAYING: "This is the iPad Pro. It's the most capable and powerful iPad we have ever created. It is chock full of amazing technologies and innovation." It's bigger, at 12.9 inches diagonally, which Apple says, is aimed at watching videos. It also has upgraded technical specs that will double the graphics performance, and offer ten-hour battery life. New accessories include a special keyboard and Apple Pencil for iPad Pro. Microsoft also made an appearance, showing off how its latest office software that works with the new iPad Pro.
