ROUGH CUT (NO REPORTER NARRATION) Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton jokes about Republican candidate Donald Trump's hair by saying, "I do kind of know what Donald is going through. And if anyone wonders if mine is real, here's the answer: the hair is real, the color isn't." Speaking at the Democratic National Committee summer meeting in Minneapolis on Friday (August 28), Clinton discussed Trump's influence on the Republican party... But not without acknowledging his hair, which was publicly inspected a day earlier. During a campaign speech in Greenville, South Carolina on Thursday (August 27), Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump brought a woman on stage to inspect his hair. "Is it mine?" Trump asked the woman as he bent forward toward her. "Yes, I believe it is," replied the woman. Trump referenced a New York Times article that quoted someone calling him "the man of the toupee" and stated in response, "I don't wear a toupee. It's my hair, I swear." Trump's support remained largely unchanged over the last week at about 30 percent, well ahead of the 17-strong pack seeking to represent the Republican Party in the November 2016 presidential election.
