Michelle Obama and her daughters take in the Italian city of Venice by boat, the last stop on their five-day tour. Rough Cut (no reporter narration).
ROUGH CUT (NO REPORTER NARRATION) The U.S. First Lady Michelle Obama took the opportunity for some sightseeing with her daughters on Saturday (June 20) as she visited the Italian city of Venice. The Obama family sped around the city's canals, followed by officers on jet skis and police launch vessels. The huge security operation helped to ensure Mrs. Obama's privacy and keep her daughters, Malia and Sasha away from the eyes of the media. Their schedule has not been made public, although it is expected that they will visit a number of Venetian tourist attractions. On Friday (June 19), the president's family visited a U.S. Army Garrison in Vicenza. The first lady and her daughters will stay another night in Venice and are due to depart for the U.S. on Sunday (June 21).
