The Duke of Cambridge Prince William watched a soccer training session at a secondary school in Shanghai on Tuesday (March 3) as part of his three-day visit to China. William arrived at Shanghai Nanyang High School in the morning and watched the training session conducted by students and Premier League-trained coaches. The Prince spoke to the students and coaches on the side of the football pitch and posed for photos with them at the end of the training session. William met Chinese President Xi Jinping on Monday (March 2) in Beijing, as he began the first visit to the mainland by a member of the British royal family in almost three decades, setting aside the rancour with London over Hong Kong. He is not being accompanied by his wife Kate, who is due to give birth to the couple's second child in April. William is scheduled to wrap up his tour in China with a visit to an elephant reserve in south-western Yunnan province.
