Congolese refugee Alain Diabanza made a long, arduous journey to Spain, where he now lives. Diabanza said he fled political threats at a time of bitter conflict, that he had to leave or face death. His journey took him to Angola, Senegal and finally Morocco, from where he swam to the Spanish enclave of Ceuta. In marking World Refugee Day, Reuters photographer Juan Medina captures his story in the first of a four-part series looking into the lives of the displaced around the world.
