ROUGH CUT (NO REPORTER NARRATION) President Obama is urging Congress to extend unemployment benefits before they expire at the end of the year. In his weekly address, he said if Congress doesn't act, 1.3 million Americans will lose their benefits, which would hurt the economy. He pointed the finger at Republicans for playing politics with the issue. "That economic life line is in jeopardy all because Republicans in this Congress, which is on track to be the most unproductive in history, have so far refused to extend it," said Obama.
