Oct. 31 - Day of the Dead comes early to Venezuela after President Maduro says image of the late President Chavez appears to workers in tunnel. Rough Cut (no reporter narration).
ROUGH CUT - NO REPORTER NARRATION STORY: Venezuela's President Nicolas Maduro claimed on Wednesday (October 30) that the image of the late President Hugo Chavez appeared to workers in a metro tunnel. Holding up a photograph that showed an image resembling a face coming through a rock wall in a metro tunnel, Maduro told supporters that Chavez was among them. "Look at this image that appeared to the workers. You can speak with them. A face! A face! This picture was taken by the workers. Whose face is in this picture? It's a look. It's the look of the fatherland that is everywhere including in phenomenon that have no explanation," an exuberant Maduro said. "Today, the image is no longer there, it disappeared, just as it appeared, it then disappeared so that you all can see that what they say is true: Chavez is everywhere, we are all Chavez. You are Chavez and you too young lady, are Chavez," he added. It is not the first time that Maduro has tapped into his supporters' love for the late Chavez. Earlier this year, he claimed that Chavez appeared to him as a 'tiny bird'. Chavez died in March after a battle with cancer.
