Nirvana, Peter Gabriel, Kiss and Cat Stevens are all among the possible inductees to this year's Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Rollo Ross reports.
If you were around when Nirvana came out with the iconic "Smells like Teen Spirit", it's time to feel old because now 25 years have passed they are eligible for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. They are one of 16 acts nominated for the honour, which includes Peter Gabriel, Cat Stevens, Kiss and N.W.A, which spawned acts LL Cool J and Dr Dre. The 16 will be whittled down by an on-line vote combined with votes by members of the organisation to just five acts, which will be honoured at an award ceremony soon after.
