"Gravity" is not only already getting floated for an oscar nod- its also raking in the dough.
$123.4 million in just the two weeks since its launch, and that's your daily digit.
The two-week estimate from Warner Brothers includes a few records. Starring Sandra Bullock and George Clooney the flick had the best October weekend opening and the second-best weekend take for an IMAX version on record.
October is a tricky month- summer blockbusters are gone- and its just too soon for those holiday blockbusters. Studios try to use the window to push out their Oscar worth fare- which don't always bring in the big bucks.
But this time the stars are aligned. Gravity is already one of the top-grossing films for its stars- according to Entertainment Weekly- and it's only week two.
