Palestinians celebrate the return of 26 men held in Israeli jails. The prisoners are the first batch of 104 Palestinians serving long jail terms for attacks on Israel. Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas welcomed them at his compound in the West Bank capital of Ramallah. Israel freed the prisoners as part of a U.S.-sponsored peacemaking process. The second round of renewed Middle East negotiations are expected to take place today.
