The Obama Administration takes aim at American gun culture. On Wednesday Vice President Joe Biden met with victims of gun violence and gun control advocates at the White House. (SOUNDBITE) (English) U.S. VICE PRESIDENT JOE BIDEN, SAYING: "I want to make it clear that we are not going to get caught up in the notion unless we can do everything, we are going to do nothing. " After 20 children and six adults were gunned down at the Sandy Hook Elementary school in Connecticut last month Biden was asked by the President to craft a a package of recommendations. On Thursday he will meet with gun owners and the National Rifle Association. In (SOUNDBITE) (English) U.S. VICE PRESIDENT JOE BIDEN, SAYING:is pledging to adopt the strictest assault weapons ban in the country. (SOUNDBITE) (English)NEW YORK GOVERNOR ANDREW CUOMO, SAYING: "We must stop the madness my friends, and in one word it is just enough. It has been enough." U.S. President Barack Obama promised to put gun control at the top of his agenda after he begins his second term on January 20th.
