This is what a ceasefire looks like in Syria (over aftermath images) A car bomb tore through Damascus on the first day of a truce between the President Bashar al Assad and rebels. This video was posted to a social media websitea whose content Reuters cannot indepedently verify. At least five people are dead and more than 30 are wounded. Opposition activists said the bomb went off near a playground. The attack was just one of many throughout the country, shattering hopes of peace --- even during the Muslim holiday of Eid.
