Oct. 26 - With the ceasefire at home broken within hours Syrian refugees in Jordan's Zataari camp hold muted celebrations for the Muslim festival of Eid. Lily Grimes reports.
Syrians are just hours into a supposed ceasefire but video said to be of shelling in the city of Homs suggests the peace initiative was short-lived. It's the first day of a UN-Arab League negotiated truce, timed to coincide with the Muslim festival of Eid al-Adha. In Jordan's Zataari refugee camp Syrian Muslims kneel to pray. But the celebration is muted - this year's Eid is overshadowed by the hostilities at home. Eid outside Syria is nothing says one refugee. This man questions the basis of the ceasefire, saying it's just an opportunity for President Bashar al-Assad's forces to regroup. Reports of violence in other parts of Syria further undermine the halt in hostilities.
