The wife of a former Chinese politician has been indicted on murder charges.
China's state run news broke the story late Thursday, the newscaster saying plainly that the facts of the crime are clear, the evidence irrefutable.
Gu Kailai, wife of Bo Xilai will be prosecuted for intentional homicide for her role in the death of British businessman Neil Heywood.
Heywood was poisoned after what state media are calling a financial dispute with Gu.
Her trial is expected to take place early next month.
Gu's husband Bo was a former Communist Party chief and was widely seen as pushing for a spot in the new leadership.
His removal has triggered rifts and uncertainty throughout the party.
Bo has not been named as a suspect in the case, but is under a separate investigation and could also face trial later.
