Jan. 31 - Tahrir protesters march to parliament and clash with Muslim Brotherhood supporters. Rough Cut (no reporter narration).
ROUGH CUT (NO REPORTER NARRATION) STORY: An estimated 4000 protesters from Cairo's Tahrir Square on Tuesday (January 31) marched on parliament where there clashes with Muslim Brotherhood supporters. The Muslim Brotherhood is devising a blueprint for a parliamentary democracy that would overturn Egypt's tradition of strong heads of state, flexing its muscles after emerging as the country's dominant political force. The Islamist movement took the biggest share of seats in parliament, allowing it to challenge the generals ruling Egypt since the overthrow last February of Hosni Mubarak in a popular uprising. Several Tahrir Square protesters were injured in Tuesday's clashes outside parliament.
