Dec. 22 - The numeral '2' arrives in New York where it will be hoisted atop the 1 Times Square building that plays host to the annual ball drop on New Year's Eve. Tara Cleary reports.
The number two - delivered and working. The 7-foot tall numeral arrived in Times Square ahead of New York's New Year's Eve celebration. The two will be hoisted to the top of number one Times Square where it will light up after the famous ball drop at midnight. And Tim Tompkins of the Times Square Alliance says the new digit is not the only exciting thing about the party. SOUNDBITE: Tim Tompkins, President of the Times Square Alliance, saying (English): "There's some major, major talent this year, there's Lady Gaga, there's Justin Bieber and so we expect a significant drop in the average age of the participants and the viewers of New Year's Eve this year."
