Funeral prayers are held for five policemen, killed by a bomb in Peshawar.
Hospital officials say a child was also killed in the attack on a police lorry.
The vehicle was hit by a remote-controlled device concealed in a push-cart.
The explosion was near a police check point in the city.
Hours later a female suicide bomber struck nearby, killing one other person.
(SOUNDBITE) (Urdu) PROVINCIAL INFORMATION MINISTER FOR KPK (KHYBER PAKHTUNKHWA PROVINCE), MIAN IFTIKHAR HUSSAIN, SAYING:
"Five of our policemen were martyred in the first blast, a child was also killed. The second blast was carried out by a 17-year old girl. She threw a hand grenade first and then she tried to blow herself up. She was not successful. The way they had planned it and the quantity of explosives they had, there could have been more deaths."
The explosives, hidden beneath a burqa, failed to detonate fully.
Police say the attacks may have been coordinated.
Female suicide bombers are rare in Pakistan, and women often pass through checkpoints without being searched.
