Rebels are waging a fierce fight with Muammar Gaddafi's forces for the Libyan town of Zlitan. Most of the offensive has taken place on the outskirts of Zlitan. Fourteen rebel fighters have been killed and 20 more have been wounded since the battle began on Saturday. Local rebel commander Areesh Aafi says his fighters have taken equipment and vehicles from Gaddafi forces. Securing the town would be a critical gain for anti-Gaddafi forces.
