EDIT CONTAINS 4:3 MATERIAL Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez announced Friday he wants to return to Cuba for continued cancer treatment. Speaking to crowds during a state visit of the Peruvian president elect, Chavez requested congressional permission to resume treatment in Havana. Last month, Chavez was there to have a tumor removed, but will now begin chemotherapy. The exact nature of his cancer has not been disclosed but he said the tumour was in his pelvis region which has led to speculation that its colon cancer. Chavez says the chemo is part of his path back to wellness. The president said he was hoping to leave for Cuba as early as Saturday. Julie Noce, Reuters
