Strauss-Kahn left a police department late Sunday night enroute to the medical facility. Earlier, his lawyers said spoke to the media. A 32-year old hotel worker alleges that Strauss-Kahn was naked when came out of the bathroom of his $3,000-a-night suite at Sofitel in Times Square and sexually assaulted her . The IMF named No. 2 official, John Lipsky, as acting chief. Lipsky had announced that he would step down when his term ends in August. Strauss-Kahn was a possible candidate in the French presidential elections, but experts say both his career in politics and at the IMF are likely over.
