Suzano Papel e Celulose S. A. is a vertically integrated producer of paper and eucalyptus pulp. The Company operates through two segments: paper and pulp. The Company owns the distributor of paper and printing products in South America. The Company has operations across Asia, Europe, North America, South and Central America, and Africa. In Brazil, the Company's forestry base amounts to approximately 1.1 million hectares, with over 560 thousand hectares of planted forests in the states of Sao Paulo, Bahia, Espirito Santo, Minas Gerais, Piaui, Tocantins, Para and Maranhao. Its annual pulp and paper production capacity is of approximately 4.7 million tons. The Company produces hardwood pulp from eucalyptus, paper and electricity. The Company's operations also include the commercial operation of eucalyptus forest for its use and for sale to third parties, the operation of port terminals, and the holding of interest, as partner or shareholder, in other company or project.
