ROUGH CUT (NO REPORTER NARRATION) STORY: The stars of the National Geographic series "Genius" hit the red carpet on Thursday (April 20) at the Tribeca Film Festival, excited for the premiere of the first season of the show that chronicles the life of Albert Einstein. Actors Geoffrey Rush and Johnny Flynn play Einstein at different points in history, paired to Emily Watson and Gwendolyn Ellis, respectively, as his wife Elsa. Executive producer Ron Howard said Einstein's story is extraordinary. "I've always been fascinated by, you know, Albert Einstein as a figure. But I never realized how many twists and turns and, you know, there were in his life, and how much drama there was, and complexity beyond the achievement. So it's inspirational on that level, but it's even more so when you understand what some of his struggles were, that, that we just don't know very much about and how complicated, sexy, you know - kind of bohemian - a lot of his relationships were. Very interesting, unexpected, you know, figure," he said. "Genius" premieres on the National Geographic Channel on April 25.
